Default Anyone currently dealing with Mark at JDMCLUB.com??

Not sure if this is the right thread, so feel free to move/delete the thread. Anyways, Im Just wondering because i am one of 8 supposable people who are waiting for an engine from marks new supplier. If you are currently dealing with him and have placed an order, let me know how you paid......reason why i ask is because its a rollercoster of a purchase. It has been over a month and i am still waiting on my engine from him. Let me know if any of you are waiting too.

damn, finally I can reply to a forum. I hate hondatech cause you have to wait forever to reply on a forum. I am waiting on an engine from jdmclub or mark. I think he is honest. He is going thru alot of **** right now. I agree he could have better communication with people but other than that he seems to be fair. I am pretty patient with people though. It has stressed the hell out of me cause I needed the car in october. The best thing I can tell you is to be patient cause usually when mark delivers his engines they are known to be the best most complete swaps around. I will see. If you have any questions my Aol instant messanger name is : accordscantdrift so hit me up.

Everyone has thier shitty moments. Mark himself is a good person. I believe that he will get stuff done. Just give him some time, I am. He is still one of the better motor suppliers. Out of 2 years of motor sales he has had the best swaps out there. I am being patent cause I know I am getting a good one. I hate it when people bash him but I do see a weakness in his customer service. He also has been **** on by andrew, his old distributer. Personally if I were in his situation I would have probably gone insain. He calls me when he gets new info though. Maybe he isnt replying to some of us because we hound him. I sure as hell wouldnt. I wouldnt want to hear it. When judging anyone you need to put yourself in thier shoes. Think how damaging you really are by bashing him. Its like an eye for a fingernail. Your damaging his reputation, one he will have for life, where you will forget about your dealings with him along with probably leaving the honda scene within 10 years to the family scene or hopefully not, the war scene. Hope everything works out for you along with everyone who has a problem with thier jdm engine importers.

B18C5-EH2: Thank you for not deleting the post, i am just trying to reach out to people right now, because this has been a stressful period for me.

Dicksonrd: True, but he doesnt have bad customer service, its horrible! Mark treats you not like a customer is supposed to be treated. You know, he has never once contacted me first. It has always been a reply from my email. Once, i even waited like three weeks after i gave him the money and he never contacted me! Finally i contacted him and he got back to me. From there it has been nothing but excuses. Now i am not saying mark is a bad guy, I actually think he is a good guy at heart, but he doesnt do buisness well at all. Now whether that has to do with his stressful past or not, thats beside the point. Right now evreyone that i have told is pointing the finger at me and asking why i paid through cashiers check and why i paid a guy i never even met before! I try and explain it to my parents and they just dont get it. You guys get it because you know how engine ordering works. You cant even imagine the grief* i am getting at home! The problem was that mark had told me to pay through cashiers so that the bank would have record, but in reality i found out that its basically straight cash To make a long story short: I get nothing back if mark decides to flake on me unless i take him to court, which i would rather not do. So my 3,250$$ of hard earned money is on the line right now, so you must understand my feelings about this! I am postitve that mark will come through and even more positive that the swap will very clean and complete, but the question is when!?!? To sum it up, i think mark is a great guy, but that does not mean he is a great buisnessman, and thats what i need right now. Hopefully mark will come through, but till then i am left to wonder!

Jesus this is still going on!?

I feel sorry for anyone who ordered a motor from this guy. He says it's his supplier that he is having the trouble with or something. He may be a "good guy" and all, but this is rediculous. It's been months for some people.

Oh well, hope you all get your motors soon...

JDMclub...

yes and no.......the people you heard about were with his old supplier. He had ordered like 24,000 $ in engines, when his supplier flaked on him (andrew). That was like 4 0r 5 months ago...maybe longer than that. recently however, he hooked up with a new supplier and that supplier is who i am with along with 8 other people. If you think about it, it really wasnt marks fault for causing all of those people to loose their money. The supplier flaked, so what could he do. Well he is now paying off some of the people and has every intention of paying off eveyone. Its hard though to pay off 24,000$. Anyways, Mark is a good guy, he just doesnt know how to handle customers they way they should be handeled sometimes...he is only 22 too. I am giving him the benifit if the doubt right now, but trust me his past buisness still crosses my mind every time i dont here from him.

No this is a different guy. Many past problems. I remember Poison's thread on the subject was over ten pages long and covered many months.

Just glad I picked up my engine in person

Mark is being plenty fair with me. I havent had one prob with him other than comunication. He has in the past been known to have the best, cleanest swaps around. I think it is worth the wait but I will see.

hrmmmm FYI I wouldn't wait more than 30 days b/c after 30 days your credit card company will not handle the claim then you are out of luck.

Secondly I wouldn't buy anything from some 1 that dosent actually have the stuff how is he suppose to know what he's getting?

If any of you get your money back I have a few complete gsr swaps pm me.

obviously mark is not a good businessman..but that doesnt mean he s not a good person..with his limit d buss. experience he doing his best to meet everyones needs and demands..id give him the benefit of a doubt till he proves otherwise

people ive know in the importing business in chinatown are usually at the mercy of they re suppliers..some items are seasonal and are not as readily available as others..JDM motors may just be one of those items..its a revolving door to suppliers..they get there when they get their

I've been pretty fair with him. I think I have been pretty patient but I still do want a motor within the next month atleast. He is working with me right now so I hope that this whole mess gets worked out.
