Default What is your opinion on Skunk2 Race Springs

I am currently running on Progress springs, OEM Shocks, Front/Rear GSR Sways, and all the damn bars that they make for my car.

In about 2 weeks i am going to complete my suspension with a Skunk2 Rear Sway with ITR LCA's, KYB AGX Shocks, J's Racing Pillar Bar for the Bling.

How are the Skunk2 springs..

i LOVE my skunk 2 springs. they are bumpy but when your moving pretty fast you don't even feel the bumps. the car has like zero body roll just with the springs (i am exxagerating a little bit )but over all i give them on a 5 star scale for springs

are we talking about the skunk2 coilover sleeves....if so i have them too but they are not installed yet, i picked them up used from a friend for 65$, for those of you using them since they have a stiff spring rate are they gonna end up blowing my shocks anytime soon?

they're not the best strings around, i got mines because it was cheap. ride quality aint that great, there are about 6 coils before it'll end. the car "sits" on the springs rather than eibach or neuspeed where thier spirngs are more into the spring. skunk2 does provide a good handling stance tho, the car can be lowered alot to you likings. overall if you want a reduction in quality of car ride for handling, they go for it.

Everything is a trade off. There are no "race springs" that will give you any kind of a good ride. After about 1" of drop you can pretty much kiss your so-so stock econo box ride goodbye. It ain't ever gonna be no Lexus.

I have the Neuspeeds and the ride is bad but it looks good and handles decent. I'm not big on road racing or anything, I just wanted mine to look good. Bad thing is it's so low I have to lift up on the front bumper to slide the jack underneath it.

Tight, looks good. my progress springs seem to lower my front a little more. I just wanted some stiffer springs for my new shocks, and i guess these are the perfect candidate for my car.

Skunk2's on AGX's with a Skunk2 Rear Sway...BAAADD

combined with my spoon f/r lower ties, gsr f strut and crossmember, rear itr strut and j's c pillar bar.

how do you think itll feel with my gay *** p185/60 tires =P
