Default Civic Headlights?

In order to put in new headlights (whole assembly) do I need to take off the whole Fawkin front bumber, or is there a short cut?

Thanks

bummer... Wish they had made it easier. Seems like everytime you replace something you have to rip apart another part of the car... it like haveing to take of your stearing wheel to change the vanity light... lol

6 or 7 pop-up things, 2 screws, s 10mm bolts, it isnt too hard, after you do it a few times, it will only take 5 minutes tops.

The real pain in the *** is getting it back on if you dont have someone to help you align it.

Even that isn't too bad once you have done it a few times. After going through about 4 headlight changes I can get that damn thing off and on in no time. I even put it back on my self at the body shop when they were taking too long to finish my stuff up.

actually..

taking the bumper off IS the lazy way.

any idea how hard it would be to take the lights off without removing the bumper? it would take a lot of time and frustration.

be lazy, take off the bumper.
