of course. but for the average guy, it's not likely unless he really plans on measuring and doing custom fabrication.

There are a bunch swaps that are crazy like that in Thailand.
Not worth it here unless you want to spend a shitload of money to become the 1st SR20DET civic in America

It may be the first rwd but I have a buddie who ran a SR20DET in a crx. It was a complete bitch though and he ended up putting a H22 in it. If you so desire nissan power why dont you just get a 240 and build yourself a sivia?

a RWD Del Sol not being hard? phew. I must be missing out.
Top Fuel built a B18C-R turbo-powered, rear/mid engine del Sol years ago. I'm sure it wasn't easy.
One thing I thought up that would be funny would be to keep the stock d-series up front, leave it in there, and then hack the rear subframe/floorpan for a B18C, have it as the running engine, the front just as a dummy. Maybe you could sell your running d-series and get a dead one, then have all the block and trans internals taken out to save weight.
OR drop in an H22 and be just as fast, and not have people ask "why?"
