I did a search before anyone starts but I did not find much.

I have gotten a 93 h23 and 00 5speed tranny to sell but I have been thinking about putting it into my 92 civic hatchback. I also have a n2o I can also install. Would it even be worth it? Should I just sell the motor and tranny and buy a b block like a b20 and put a b16 head on it? Should i even try to put it in the carsince I already have it? What will the h23 with n2o really do in the car? Will that motor take a 60 or 70 shot? I know I will have to upgrade my fuel system and things like that but will the motor itself hold up? Will it take more than that?

I have almost everything to do the swap. Just wondering what that motor will reallt do in my car. Anyone ever done this?

 

the torque will be nice. i say go for it. it should net you 13's with the 60 shot i would think.

my friend had a 92 prelude si (it has h22 now) with the h23 w/ i/h/e test pipe and he didnt run that much but he got a 15.1 at the track. The h23 in a civic with a 60 shot wud easily put u in the low 13s, EASY. And im sure it can be done because i have seen an h23 fit in a del sol so i know it can fit into a civic as well. Its all up to u though.

 

If you have the parts and time go for it. You have all the resources you need right here on H-T. I'd do it if I were you!

 

Just trying to see if this set up will be worth the time and effort. I cant find any used mounts. Anyone ever use HCP mounts?
