A friend of mine has a 91 Civic DX, and he wants to do a swap. What kind of engines would fit in there? I know of a few places to buy engines, but can you name some recommended ones? Also, what would it take to have that different engine installed? Thanks a lot.

To answer your question, it really depends on what they want to do with the car. You want to drag race? autocross? You want to stay d-series or go b-series? Most, if not all, d-series and b-series (with mounts, shift linkage, etc.) will fit. As far as places to buy, hmotorsonline or import auto salvage seem to be favorites.
