Painting the interior body of car
I was planning on painting the interior body of my car because I am getting the rest repainted eventually. When the outside will be repainted, the car will be totally stripped and the engine pulled. First question is, should I pay extra and have the interior matched even though I won't be seeing much of it or should I paint it myself a flat black color. The car is currently red and going to be a HoK Kandy Tangerine color. There are a couple main reasons I wanna paint the inside too. 1. I'm the kind of person who will always be bugged by the fact that I know the inside doesn't match, and 2. the interior currently is kind of a quick remove sound system type idea and even if I do change it, that idea will stay the same for performance reasons so the rear body of the car will be visible at times.
The second question is: if I do go with the plain black color on the inside, how would you recommend I go about doing this, and also what order should I do it (i.e. professionally done outside first or after interior.

i wouldn't bother with the engine bay, but since you pulled the engine out..You might wanna have them paint it for you, get the quote first of course.
definately fix the engine bay...it'll drive you absolutely nuts everytime you look at it and see red instead of candy tangerine. the inside painted black? that looks great on the EG that I've done it to, but it's your call.
If you do want to black the inside yourself, get some duplicolor glossy black and glossy clear and just shoot until you're happy. Make sure you have hella-ventilation because your *** will get high in roughly three minutes otherwise

Yah the engine bay is being painted for sure, the interior was the only question. Thanks for the advice on what to use, I was kinda guessing it would just be spray paint just to seal it all up. Rear end has the usual missing spotty paint from Honda in the early 90s and since it will be stripped occasionally I wanted something other than red.
