If everything is bolt-up, you have access to a lift and good tools, and you don't need to do any crazy modifications, I'd say you could do it in a weekend easy.....tap accessory on for the gauges off the back of the cigarette lighter.....tough part is wiring them into the lights, I forget which wire is the one to use....
If you have to start doing custom stuff and modifying things, expect it to take a LOT longer....

The FMAX kit is OK, better than the drag kit at least.....I'm all about custom personally.....remember you'll need to reroute the power steering cooler lines if you're using the FMAX kit, so have some extra power steering fluid handy as well as a couple feet of hose......

And don't use the MF2 (you have hondata, so I assume you have bigger injectors?).......and as always the oil return is going to be a bitch......

when i talked to a few of the guys around here they were saying that they had to loose the ac. so account for the removal of that while you are at it.

I have to concur. I did my install more than once, and i'm positive that a/c does not need to be messed with.

I removed my a/c but for other reasons

When I installed the FMAX kit on my 96 I had to modify a high pressure a/c sensor in order to get thr FMIC to fit correctly.

The one right below the canister (a/c evap dryer or whatever it's called) right? My FMIC sits right on it, but doesn't seem to have any problems...

Yes that it the one, just in front of the radiator. My FMIC was pushed up against it and the mounting hole wasn't even lined up. I Cut the plastic on the sensor, soldiered wires to it, sealed it with silicon then connected my wires to the plug. Now there is lost of room.

Yeah, without access to the right kind of tools, installation can take forever. I think the harder part isn't the turbo, it's any motor work you get done to prep for the turbo. Nobody likes pulling out prelude motors... they're so big & heavy (in comparison to B-series).

But yeah, the actual turbo installation, my friend's shop finished it in 2 days, and that's while working on other customer's cars too. Oh yeah, and tuning it will take some time cuz you gotta make lots of "test runs".

One more thing, I don't know about other people, but I had to get my reinforcement bar cut slimmer to fit the intercooler. Obviously it would help if you had the right tools.

no you wont, with 3 people i say you can knock the actual install out in a day with the right tools. 2 days tops in case you run into any problems.

mine wasnt that bad took 2 days just me, and i did a new clutch while i did that. im running f-max.......its a decent kit, definately better than the DRAG but Custom kits are the way to go. But im lazy and dont want to mess with fabricating stuff, it takes away from my time
