i'm going to be putting a set of apr wheels studs on my car and i'm curious as to what you guys think is the best set of lugs to use. i have heard the stories about the skunk studs of lugs togthere, so i don't want to have to worry about replacing them constantly. what lugs do you guys recomend.

i also have a question about lug nuts... what brand will work with arp studs and tuner style wheels (the one with the small holes) i found some that will work the are open ended but only sold by the 100. does anyone know if the Kyokugen lug nuts will work for small diameter holes or if there are any other brand for extended studs and small diameter holes. BTW the ones i have found are the gorilla small diamter spline drive open ended lug nuts.

 

do not buy the kyokugen nuts. they suck ***!! if they get put on with an impact gun, the key will strip and they will not come off. then you have to use a 12point and hammer it on and break it loose. I always hand tightened them but when i got my tires mounted the guy at pep boys wasnt going to use a hand wrench and put them on with the impact and i broke 3 lugnut keys and 4 12point taking them off.

 

hehe, i had to do the 12pt on my gorilla lug's because i lost the key.. its a pain on the ***..
