after swaping my b16a2 i'v noticed a fair amout of oil leaking from the vtec selanoid area, i'm not shure if it is infact the selanoid or if it's something elts, enybody elts have this problem?..eny help would be apreciated

 

get new gaskets. teh vtec selenoid has a gasket, maybe thats broken. it could leak from the dist above that too. clean your motor good, then watch it close and see where its leaking from and go get some new gaskets. not expensive at all.

 

the motor is clean, and the seal on the vetech selaniod looks really good actually...could it possible the cam seal?

 

ok, r u sure its not leaking around the vtec sel.??? If you say the seal look good, that means you took if off, and usually when you take it apart, its always a good idea to replace the seal. its like really cheap to buy, but it can be leaking from many places in that area. but like i said, clean it so its perfect, then jsut sit there and watch it while its running, you have to fin where its leaking from first. that will give it away right away. wipe all oil off, then watch it. But hopfully you find it. should be too hard. but remember, the seals may always look good, but they still can leak. replace them.
