passanger side harness differant from driver?

Default passanger side harness differant from driver?

i was looking at the i/o port page nat harnesses and they have the camlocks listed a driver and passanger seperate. any ideas as to why??

One of the lap belts is non-removeable in most camlock harnesses. Due to that fact, it makes sense why they would be "side-specific". (Two holes on the top of the camlock for your shoulders.)

Other than that, I dunno.

i guess maybe the center attachment point (camlock) stays on the left lap for the passanger set.

Yeah, they have the camlocks attached to the right belt (for driver) so that can only be used on the driver's side...

It only makes a diff if you want the cam-lock mechanism mounted inboard.

now that you mention it, i just took out my seat last night, i dont have the snap off hook at the end of the camlock latch and was thinking it would be easier if the camlock was actually on the outboard side cuz i wrap that lapbelt around the rollcage. this way i wouldnt have to go underneath the car to take my seat out to unbolt the anchor. oh well. gonna be buying a snap hook anyway now.
