Does anyone have pictures of the hole in the bumper and also the housing itself from the rear bumper turn signal from any accord from 97+? I am also looking to buy the oem lights with housings if anyone knows where I can get a good deal. Thanks for any help.

i'm not sure what you are talking about , there is no turn signal on the rear bumper on the 5th gen accords thats 94-97. maybe you are talking about the side marker light thats is red (oem) and is about 3"x 1", if thats what you are talking about you can get that part of e-bay, really cheap, or even go to a dealer they have them you may pay a little more but at least you will have it that day.

the only other thing that i think you maybe talking about is the break lights on the trunk lid on 96&97 the 94&95 did not come with them i have a link to some aftermarket tailights that i put on a while back but since replaced with the (oem) tails...what was i thinking

the lights i am talking about are approx 1" x 6" and come red, and people always buy the clear lenses to replace with. Any ideas?

yeah maybe your right it is 1x6 but thats what it's called ................[.rear bumper " side marker "]

 

maybe the front bumper lens....cuz thats like 6-8 inches wide. i have a 92 and dont have the side markers, but those aren't 6 inches....well, i dont think they r, they look more like about 3 inches wide, but do i kno, i have a 4th gen.

edit: i just read the post again, u said they were red (OEM) so that wouldn't be the front bumper lens, those r orange, sorry.

well, those r just side markers, and they come stock on 5th gens

 

yeah..standard in all 6th gen coupe too.

im talking about that location, but on the newer accords that light is more round on the corners and i think a bit longer. ?????

 

The 94-97 and 98-02 all have pretty much the same sidemarkers. There's really not much difference. Either way, if you want different sidemarkers, they'll work for whatever car you have.

dude why are you making this a big deal, if you have a 5th gen accord then take the 1 or/2 screws that hold the marker lence in and compare it with that ever lence you want , if you only have the 5th gen accord lence then take the lence off the other bumper you are trying to put it in and see if it works..................................really easy. also if the 5th gen mrker lences are to big to fit into what ever bumper it;s going into then just cut the hole alittle bigger with scrowl saw......... soory was not trying to be pissy with you bill

i guess i wasnt very clear. I dont have an accord, which is the problem. Im going to be putting the lights into a different vehicle. I guess I will just have to buy the lights and housings and work from there.

not the easiest task to do.
since on side is hold on my self tapping screw and the other side you have to slip it in to something.. need some brains to have it nice and flat.
