01 civic project help
Well I'm not sure what to do on my engine on my 2001 civic lx. I can't swap the engine because my "dad", in quotations because i dont like using that kind of term (i hate him), wont let me do a swap because he says "its a new car" and thats the reason why I cant do a swap, so I'm going to work off of what I got. I was wondering what all I could do to the engine and how much hp I could get out of the thing. Thanks for all your help.
i have a 7th gen and i gave up on it after suspension and wheels. this car isnt worth it to me. the only thing i could suggest is to start with a better platform-k20 swap eventhough you cant do it. but hey, its your car, swap it if you want-itll be a new motor anyway and i dont see what the big deal is. header, exhaust, cai, those are the basics. turbo maybe.
i would say just make it look cool instead of working on the engine
it's a new engine, not much u can do to improve the performance
drop it with some good shocks, put on some rims, HID's, keep it clean
good luck

thanks for the input a lot, i really appreciate it. I'll do what I can, like an aem cam, aem short ram, header. stuff like that. Hope there are more things for the 7th gen soon.
yea, like basic bolt ons..
don't spend too much money on something nobody has too much experience on it.. like turbo SC and so on..
I/H/E, keep it clean, HIDs...
it will look hella good
