STB mounting points....which is best?
i have asked this question before and haven't gotten a proper response.
When replacing the front strut bar, which design is best?
One that is placed where the stock Si bar is....or
one where it connects to the bolts by the actual shock?
the reason I ask is because i would like to replace my stock front strut bar with a 3 point bar. The two companies that I am looking at getting is either the benen or the carbing. But I noticed that they both have different moutning points. the benen mounts in the stock position, and the carbing mounts to the actual strut bolts. The question is....which one should I get? I realize that they are both good products, but its not the products in question, is the design.
I am also aware that the 3 point is illegal for auto-xing but I don't plan on doing that, making that issue moot.
Also, does having the 3 point put any unnecessary stress on the firewall?
