Default Stock Honda CD Changer compatability

Ok, I have a 99 Accord EX that has the double DIN single CD player in it. I am looking to get the stock CD changer and get the kit to mount it in the console but I dont want to pay $350 its not that important to me. So i found someone that has a fairly new one that just came out of a new CRV. Are they the same changer and connection? Any info would be appreciated. Also, what do you even plug in, just one plug that goes from the stock HU to the CD changer and that transfers all the music and power? Thanks again.

Personally, I have never installed a factory changer, but the radio plugs in both of those cars is the same. Going on that information, I would assume that the changer would be compatible but I could be wrong.

I think I read somewhere that Alpine changers or at least certain ones are compatible.
