Does anyone have any information on the cars running ECHC this season? Technical details? Pictures? Waiting for the season to start is getting to me.

Has anyone seen Sam Lockwood's '94 Del Sol VTEC? My business partner owns a Del Sol and considered racing it (autocross events). I thought it might be interesting to him if someone had information on Lockwood's new car.

how odd, thats where i live and how its spelled. Most people don't spell it that way.

 

The Lockwoods only came out once last year at Lowe's with their World Challenge cars. Not sure what is up with their Del Sol. The Sol is getting to be a popular car in ITS. LTB Motorsports, one of the new sponsors for 2003, has one. They have said they would come out to some of the races this year.

There are a bunch of new drivers and cars for 2003, it should be a great season again this year!

I'll be running the "ubermotor" powered GS-R in H3 again. This year with a proper cage and a limited slip, and more importantly, some valuable lessons learned from my first season of racing. Should be significantly faster.

I will probably miss the first two race weekends but should run the other races if I find a job by then. I just live down the road in Durham and the car is stored in Raleigh. Let me know if you want to check it out some time. I take it you are running this season?

 

I autox my '85 CRX, monthly, at least. Helps me sort it out.

 

We would love to see your car sometime. We're still learning as much as we can about this sport. We recently bought a CRX at an attractive price so we're working on that for now. Probably won't make it this season as far as racing but hopefully we'll make it to watch and learn as much as we can. If you get a chance, stop by our shop sometime.
