Guys I need help,Eibach Sportlines
I bought a pair of Eibach sportlines a while back,I now have them for sale because I switched to H&R and wanted to go lower.I spoke with a fellow honda tech member that was interested and sent him pics.He said they are pro kits which he may be right,I may have gotten ripped off by East Coast performance in Harrison NJ.WHAT COLOR ARE SPORTLINES?Mine are black,I really need to know guys thanks.
I had no idea this whole time and one of our fellow HT members was just about to buy them and told from the pics there not sportlines, and hes right. That means when they went in the back room to get them they must have switched them out.
My Eibach Sportlines were Red..
the Eibach Pro-Kits that I've installed are black
hmm some places I've seen pro-kits for $220 and Sportlines for like $190.... but if your not happy w/ the drop then you would feel ripped off
anyway the best way to find out is the part numbers..
http://www.eibach.com
Product Front Rear Comments Part Number
PRO-KIT 1.3 in 1.3 in Type-R vehicles will receive minimal lowering becauseüdue to lower factory ride heights. 4020.140
PRO-STREET Currently in Development. 4020.710
SPORTLINE KIT 1.7 in 1.7 in Type-R vehicles will receive minimal lowering because of lower factory heights.üVaries by engine size and or model 4.2040
(sorry about the spacing.. I cut/pasted from Eibachs website... ).. but the part numbers are at the end of each product line..

why do prokits cost more if the drop is only 1.3 or something like that?
Thats not much of a drop, so why are sportlines cheaper???
Sportlines are red, i used to have them on my car, but I switched to H&R race because the Sportlines didnt give me much of a drop.

About year ago I went to by springs so I stopped at East Coast,I asked the guy do you have sportlines for my GSR,he went in the back for about 10 minutes and came out with the box and I bought them.I held them for a couple weeks until I had money for shocks and picked up tokica blue na adjustables and had them installed.I wasnt happy at all with the drop,I wanted it lower it looked a little lower than stock. Then my friend got his GSR and put on the H&R race springs it looked almost slammed just the way I wanted it.So I bought the H&R's and never looked back. Then after having them sitting and collecting dust for over 6 months I decided to sell them. One of our fellow member was interested and asked for pics so I sent them, and he told me he doesnt think there sportlines,he gave me web link I confirmed around 12 last night they are the pro kits.Part number on the springs match and all.But I do have the sportline box so my guess is I got scammed, some people in the buisness are out to take peoples money.
But in a way I made out with more expensive springs but they dont have the drop I was looking for,and maybe if they gave me the right springs I wouldnt have had to buy the H&R's.
