Let the Atlanta Region STS Smacktalk Begin...
Ill be pulling up the rear in STX
Catch22 what kind of Dodge is it?
My good friend hopes to make it out to a few events this year in his BUILT Omni GLHS...still got a few bugs to work out. SM for him I think.
Ryan, you going to the school on sat? I should be there as well.

If they keep the course the same on saturday i might be getting some extra practice.
(hear that? that's the sound of me cracking myself up... Wheeeeee!)Scott~ Neon, Schmeon! Any car the lifts the inside rear as high Neons do can't be a serious threat. C'mon, I mean really.... what the hell is that all about anyway.... I am truly embarrassed for you.
Seriously, we all need to fear the Scubie 'Prezas in the rainy conditions we're likely to see on Sunday.
Casey, whose spin happy family truckster is secretly undergoing radical modifications to prepare for an amphibious assault on Sunday morning.
At least I've had enough practice where i can keep my car pointed straight ahead.
I think tom is running pro this season so i don't think he's in sts. don't know if any other subarus made the move to sts though.
Good luck to all this weekend.

I did the same thing as you the first event i got my new rates. Spun once and couldn't correct it. Seconds partial spin ended up sideways with full lock and WOT going the other direction and drifted for quite some time but finally made it out wihtout spinning. It was fun but definately slowed me down, good think I was red flagged for someobody else on course and got a rerun.

Until then, you have to show up and stand in line.
Oh, and while you stand in line, freezing your butt off, the GAGGLE of novices cut a bunch of their equally novice buds in in front of you.
And you stand in line.
And then the computer crashes.
And you still stand in line.
Did I mention you're freezing your butt off?
Still standing.
<sigh> It wouldn't be an Atlanta autocross without at least 170 cars and 60 of them not knowing what to do with that funny lookin' red flag.
</smartass who won't get a season pass so he wouldn't have to stand in line>
Note: I personally know many of the folks who do registration in Atlanta, and this is not a quip at them.

The stunnas tend to weed themselves out after an event or two. Once they figure out that 18 inch chrome dubs are not only ill suited to the task, but the announcer makes fun of them until they are off course, AND they are some 20 odd seconds off of the pace for their class, they seem to lose intrest.
But, there's always more where they came from. As long as they don't bring firearms to the event, I really only mind <this much>...

i thought blingin chrizz0me and stripes were a recipe for speed?
I've been doing it all wrong.... i should have never had a $600 roll bar built for my car. That would by a duuub or two.
