Attn: R owners gauge clutster question
so is the "carbon fiber" around the heater fake also... this is very disapointing that type r's come factory with APC type product.

there is no carbon fiber around anything else other then the gauge cluster........in the north american R's anyways

All "carbon fiber" on a Type R is just stickers. Gauge surround, driver's vent, center vents, radio/HVAC bezel, shifter surround (00-01 US cars).

The "CF" pattern is actually part of the plastic itself, not a sticker. Either way, it isn't real.
Perhaps I was thinking of the "Integra" sticker in front of the shifter and confusing myself.

My guess is that it is silkscreened or flexo-printed on the plastic.
Also, what fake CF around the vents and shifter?
