I was just wondering what you guys have run in the 1/4 with an LS swap in a hatchback. Thanks.

quickest I've seen is 14.8 with I/H/E slicks. Mind you, it was burning oil.

 

i know a guy that had an ls in a crx with h,i,e, short shifter, good tires, cam gears, ignition, plugs, wires and he ran a 14.03 but like low 14s consistant

 

well, i ran a 16.0 in my hatchback with a ls/vtec w/ vtec not working and rev limiter at 7000k. it was at 4500ft elevation and with street tires. intake header exhaust. Not fast but better than dx. then once i got vtec working i could easily hit 14.3 or lower. trust me, you'll want vtec after you get stuck in the 14's!!!

My HB ran 15.5 with a B18B. Although stories abound when it comes to running better times than this, keep in mind that this does not mean that I would be able to duplicate them, even in the same car. Most people run low to mid 15's in 1988-1991 cars with LS swaps.
