NASA at Mid Ohio
NASA OH/IN is excited to be the first event in the 2003 Mid Ohio schedule! During the April 4-6 weekend, the Midwest Honda Challenge will make it's debut. There are a few cars signed up for the event to race, and the local S2000 clubs and Honda/Acura enthusiasts also have a few names on the registration list.
Drivers and Racers may sign up for 1, 2, or 3 days. Registration is open at http://www.nasaproracing.com . We look forward to seeing many of the same great people who made last year a blast, and meet some new faces! See you at the track!

I'd like to get my car done by then and at least bed in some brakes, etc ...on the roadcourse before the ITR Expo.
Do I get a one time NASA membership waiver to "try outNASA @ Mid-Ohio" this year? Ed
P.S. don't mind the Avatar or the H-T title, I'll be in Advanced for the ITR Expo.

The membership is needed for insurance purposes. It is a 365 day membership now, so take advantage of some NASA VA, NASA OH/IN, and NASA Northeast events almost year round! Hope to see you there.

Ok, ... Guess you gotta pay to play!
I've done Mid-Ohio twice before in my CRX.
Once a while ago with Track Time and then again with the Mid-Ohio Advanced Driver School.
I'll get the membership and register in the next week or sol
Thanks, Ed

Drivers and racers may register by either paper entries (printed off the OH/IN website http://www.racenasa.com), or if more convenient, online at http://www.nasaproracing.com . Looks like a good group coming so far. If we get 8 or more H-T members, you all get the 10% discount (cash back at the track or credit toward future events)!
I'm hoping to be there
; just need to get my exhaust on to be legal.
Are there any special provisions for del Sols since they're "convertibles?" It has a bit of roll-bar type thing and I"ll have the roof on of course, so it seems legal to me, but I'd like to make sure.

The Del Sol is a lift out roof similar to a C4 corvette correct? With the factory roof rollover material, it is just fine to be at the track. See you there!

Yes, you are counted. We'll keep track of who is going here, and have a group H-T meeting at some point during the weekend (hopefully I am handing out cash or credit discounts to 8+ people at the meeting!). See you there.

For some reason, your PM didn't come through. I'll check again a bit later. I have heard from a bunch of Z car owners and car clubs, with a few 350Z's showing interest. I may have spoken with the gentleman with the 350Z from Columbia. Hope to see you soon!
I'm signing up for the Saturday-Sunday HPDE for my virgin track day. I've been waiting for almost a year for this.
Let's get a good member turnout so I have to pay less.
Deadline = March 22.

I have a couple of questions about this event...
1) Will there be a tire vendor at the track for this event?
2) Will we be racing the "club" or "pro" (no chicane) course? We've run the pro course every once in a while and it's fun. Both configurations have their own challenges. I vote for both... club one day, pro the other!
3) Will Honda-Challenge be in the same group as Pro Sedan or will it be possible to run both groups? I'm assuming Pro Sedan is closer to IT rules than H-C is becoming so... if a car is running in both H-C and PS, what is the ruling on the use of data acquisition during the weekend?
