Default Looking For a Hatch

Ok guys and gals. I am looking into buying a hatch. I have a 99 EX right now that I am going to sell, and hopefully have some money left over after I buy the hatch. What in general is the best line of the Honda Hatchs? I am planning on maybe a engine swap, suspension, I/H/E, and maybe a little of the laughing gas. What year and trim are you all running? and how much did you pay?

Thanks
D

The lightest models of Civics for EG chassis would be the VX and the CX model.

Depending on the condition and such on the car (assuming it's stock and running or not running with a good body) -- I would pay no more than $4000 for it.

I don't think there is a best hatch but I would like a 96-00 one. Do you want a light one with nothing ie CX or one with everything ie SI. The SI was only in 92-95. The 96-00 only came in CX and DX I think anyone. I got my 92 b/c it was so cheap. I see alot of them for 1200 to 3000. Heres mine

hell no, i dont know where you find a clean hatch for less than 4k

if you do , it's NOT your average price

2k- beater cx/vx
3k- semi clean cx/vx
4k beater si clean cx/vx
5k semi clean/clean si

maybe my definition of CLEAN is more specific than the rest of you

yea, thats what i said, i was at work one day when a friend told me about it, i called the older lady on my break, went home right after work to get the cash, then right to her place money in hand, i mean hell even a beat up 93 si is worth 800 imo, but im soo happy , so far i have a lil over 2 grand into it, and i have a b16, gsr wheels, dropped, and exhaust , gotta love it when you start out cheap, and hatches are the shiiiiit
