I've been putting together the costs in my head to build the d16, there's all the gaskets, rods, pistons, full valvetrain, cam....it's going to be expensive as hell......not too sure if I'm going to build it anymore, it'll probably be around 2g's or more, and that's with me doing the labor. I'm still leaning towards doing it...but I'm just curious if anyone has any dyno charts of a mini me? It'd be able to rev to 7200 w/ the stock valvesprings, but for the price of the y8 head and a zdyne 1-wire I can practically do the a6 head. So anyone have any dyno charts? I've ridden in eg hatches w/ sohc vtec's...and it basically felt the same as the rex...I would be pissed if I did a mini-me and didn't notice a difference.

 

yeah it seems to me that Z6s arnt as good as say a ZC.. on average anyway. if your gonna to a turbo then that vtec head wont really matter. id just stick with your A6. i bought a Z6 but im gonna sell it do a turbo a6. ....id say if you got about 1500 to spend ..homadeturbo that a6 ..leave it stock..


but to answer your ?? ...the mini me is supposed to be like a 130hp..with the higher compression... homemadeturbo.com..has some stuff on it i think.

 

already went the homemade turbo route on my a6 if you are...how bout buying some of my stuff in the sig!
