my girls 89 LX will not strart..its getting fire,getting gas, but nothing...i took the plugs out.and #1 is full of gas ..ok its flooded....i noticed that the evac is buzzing(i quess its the evac). its on the intake runner that goes to #1. anybody have any suggestions..


also the timing is dead on..dizzy is appeares to be good. new rotor button..im stumped..

 

how full of gas is it? if it's a good amount, maybe try pumping it out somehow...or turn the engine over w/ no plugs in it to spray it all out, don't know if that would be a good idea though. Check the cam timing also, maybe it skipped a tooth or the t-belt broke or something.

 

it was like a lake..we got most of it out..(stuck a lighter to it and spun it over for a good 30 seconds it shot out flames)lol Tbelt is good. dead on...im gonna pick up a EVAC today...was just curious if anyone had a prob with buzzing (bad) EVAC and starting, or flooding
