FastBrakes factory replacement 2 piece rotor ...
stock ITR diameter, 25mm thick ... anyone tried them ?
I want to keep the stock itr calipers, I feel they are really strong. I'm looking for a direct replacement rotor that will be more resistant to warping.
anyone have tried these rotors on a track ?

375$ / a pair , slotting or cross drill extra
I woudn't do that primary for weight reduction, but for greater resistance to overheating and warping.
So I would really appreciate if someone can confirm this to me. thanks

The rotors you have in this pic look like the Stoptech Aerorotors. Check out http://www.stoptech.com . Someone had said something about them discontinuing the 2 piece kits for our car and I can't find them on their website right now. Here's a post on that:

I think Mike Marsey (Rboosted717) had them and there were a couple others on this board. Here's some other opinions on these rotors:

I've considered them a few times, but haven't been able to makle myself spend the money. Stoptech also makes a great big brake kit which looks great and sounds like it works great. Hope this on helps.

yeah I still have the stoptech rotors. I love them. The only problem I noticed was that the new brake pads will not fit with the spoon calipers and stoptech rotors since the stoptech are so thick. You either have to shim the caliper or shave the pads down some. But yeah I love the stoptech's. Its a shame that they stopped making these. And yes the rotor slots are in the correct direction. Stoptech says to mount them this way for cooling of the inside veins of the rotor.

yeah I didn't feel like typing out the whole expanding and contracting difference with 1 to 2 piece rotors. Thanks for typing that all out!

No, no problems at all. But mine are the same thickness (25 mm) as stock.
I ran the 11" diameter, 2 piece, 1" thick rotors from Fastbrakes on my GSR sedan.
They were excellent rotors, the best feature is undoubtedly the directional cooling vanes.
I think they are pretty expensive compared to oem rotors and that oem rotors suit my lack-of-track-time lazy *** much better.
supeR thick rotors =
directional cooling vanes =
two piece construction = lightweight =
Fastbrakes price, advice, service =
