Default Spark plug choice for LS

Hey guys. Just wanted to get some opinions. The new race season is coming and i'm giving my car a tune up. I have a 98 LS and was wondering if I should stick with the stock NGK ZFR5f-11 spark plug or go a step colder with ZFR6F-11.
I pretty much only have i/h/e on my car so I should probably stick with the stock 5f, right?? O, also, timing advanced by 4 degrees. Thanks.

stick with stock for now and make sure they are properly gapped.

be careful with your timing...might want to run higher octane gas (you'll have to play it by ear).
