Default A little help with my struts

I have a slight rattle from the rear suspension over bumps. The car is a 2000 civic si, and even though it would seem a little premature for struts, I'd just get a new set...EXCEPT they are Apexi N1's!! It isn't too bad right now, but if it is the struts, they usually go bad pretty fast from this point. All the mounting bolts are tight. Can my N1's be rebuilt? Or would I need to replace them? I'm still a little skeptical about it being the struts just because the car/coilovers are only 3yrs old...w/ 30,000 miles total. During the summer I'd notice it once in a while when I'd get into the car (a single clunk). This winter my daily driver didn't make it so the civic gets to plow the drifts. In the cold everything is stiffer, so the rattle in the rear is a little more pronounced. Any suggestions?
