my roomate has the single bend skunk2 and he loves it.. it brings it a little lower than stock hieght and brings it back a little closer to the armrest i think... but it shortens the throw and makes it more precise

the secret to the C's is....rollerblade bearings. I'm serious haha.
the pivot at the bottom has rollerblade bearings on either side. It's much smoother that way. Depending on if the bottom of the short shifter can fit these you can buy any old setup.

Since we are on the subject of short shifters.... approximately a year back my friends got me a short shifter (generic) with energy bushings. It was okay for some time but a while back it started to create a rattling noise... any ideas on why its doing this?
Skunk2 is near factory height, but with much more precise and short throws (the point of a shifter). I've heard far to many a B&M shifter rattle like a mother, so I avoided that, and was well pleased with the Skunk2.

I'd go with skunk2... stainless steel, dual bend (same as stock) so you don't have to reach further, high quality construction. Whatever shifter you get, make sure it's made of steel. I'd also recommend picking up some shifter bushings (energy suspension or neuspeed). They may have made a bigger difference that the shifter itself.
b&m rattles, get skunk
if i were you i would get a B&M short throw shifter. its easy to install if you know what to do because you may need to put alittle elbow grease into it (depends on the year of your integ.) but all in all you'll be ripping thru the gears in no time bro............
never go cheap on car parts unless they're extremely good and decent priced. get b&m and eventually will be changed to a better one. Might as well spend that extra $$ and get Skunk2 (I still enjoy drivin it).
i also hear that the skunk2 is perfect with the shift ****. the two weights combined create a perfect counter weight for more positive gear engagments. but that's what I hear.
