How about a Dynomax cat? I know there was a thread about this recently but I couldn't find it. I think someone suggested #15187 (2-1/2") but I'm not sure.

I've had one on my truck now for about 3 years with no problems. When I go with a 2-1/2 exhaust on my Integra I'll probably go with a Dynomax cat on that too.

Dont lose faith in Carsound or any high flow cat for that matter. I have a CATCO right now, and mine blew out like three weeks after I had it. What people seem to say is you need to get your A/F tuned in oder not to burn out the cat.

SO no matter which one you get, they both will do the same thing if not tuned. I dont have all the info on this stored in my brain, but Im sure if you do a search you'll find the info Im talking about.

I have a CATCO. No problems so far, I run really rich, and it works fine.

Amen. There's alot of threads with an explanation of why cats go bad. You HAVE to tune, running rich will kill a cat, most of the time.

I have not lost faith in carsound just yet but I would liike to try something else out. The car is tuned perfectly via hondata but since we started out with a real rich map I think that is what damaged it I took off the cat this morning and the part I left in there when I took out the clump that broke apart so I guess a carsound would last this time but who knows.

Ah, I see. Then go for it. I didnt have any problem at all with my CATCO other than it blowing out. Its put together pretty decent and flows just as good as any other out there IMHO. I just got a Carsound this time around because it was 72 bucks for a universal 2.5 highflow.
