Rattling Rear Shelf
My rear shelf rattles like mother. I only have two Pioneer 6 3/4"s...and they put out significant bass. I believe the reason is that the rear shelf plywood is warped due to moisture, but I may be wrong. Any ideas on how to cure my problem? I was thinking about placing a support beam of plywood underneath, and drilling screws through the shelf, through the sheet metal, into the support sheet. Thanks!
If it is not the sheet metal that rattles but the padding on the top, you can put some dynamat under there and it should help. If it is the sheet metal..., a hel cut it all out you dont need it!! j/k find out what part rattles and see if you can somehow isolate the rattlingf with some dynamat or some padding.
if you got them instaled take them back to the shop and have them look at it dynomat helps a lot will stop most ratteling unless caused bye loose hardware its not real expensive but if you do your whole car it can get up there
