pics of the new manifold and wastegate
its and SFP manifold i had custom done for my greddy tdo5-18g turbo so I could get rid of the internal wastegate and my new HKS standard wastegate with a 9.7 psi spring.
Looks great. How did you remove the internal wastegate and block it off?
the manifold cost me $425 and the wastegate was $330.

Make sure you coat that SFP manifold with a high temp paint of some kind because it will rust.
Wouldn't it be wiser to just get it JetHot Coated? MOST high temp paints will melt off easily. (Hot hot do you think the manifold gets?)
do you keep ur A/C with that? and can you take some pics of the mani attached to the turbo ... thanks .. I'm thinking about doing this too!

The Greddy does not use a Mistu flange. It uses a Garrett T-25 inlet flange. Also, would you have to weld the door shut, could you n ot just disconnect the vaccuum source from the dashpot? Those internal gates are held pretty tight...
Nice manifold BTW! Are before and after dynoes possible?

The after dyno should only be alittle more but it is not for power reasons that i am switching manifolds. With my sleeved and built 2.0 ltr, bored gsr I am having a lot of problems with boost spike because it is b00sting the $hit out of the turbo, so more of a safety piece for my motor so I can regulate the b00st more accurately.

yes you can keep your a/c with this manifold. I will post pics as soon as I install it.

What kind of paint could you put on it to make it not rust. Wont it melt any kind of paint, even the FLAME proof paint? I need to paint mine too, what do I paint it with????[/QUOTE]
I used VHT 1500 degree ceramic coating. Holding up just fine.

DEI silicon exhaust coating. I can't remember the rating, but it looks great, won't fade, and will not come off.
Comes in Black or silver.
