Default help me...i gotta do this tonight

i was drivin my car and i noticed it sounds totally diferent for some reason today. i ignored it for a while hoping it would go away but no luck. I started lookin around and under the car a noticed a little leak at where the header connects to the cat. theres just 2 ****** screws on a spring holdin the damn thing in place and its leakin a little at the cat.

is this a big problem that should be fixed right away? does it matter at all, i mean should i fix it right away. what do u guys think....i havnt noticed a change in the car as far the driving goes. let me know, thanks for the help.

If it is only leaking a little bit then it shouldn't be a huge problem. It is when it starts leaking alot that you have to worry.

tighten the bolts down...haha...if you say that it wasnt leakin before then it could just be loose? you will lose a little backpressure if its a big leak or anythin

i have tightened the bolts all the way but the header doesnt exactly line up perfect so thats why its leakin. i just dont feel like taking every thing apart right now to line it up. would i loose hp from this? i would think not, but let me know.

if its a tiny leak you wont be able to notice besides the noise...if you are loosin a lot of backpressure then you will lose some low end power...im guessin that your leak is tiny and you wont be able to tell at all
