alien b16 distributor
I recently had a 1st gen b16 dropped into a 89 crx. When we went to change the distributor cap and rotor we noticed the cap I had bought for a 94 Del SOl dohc vtec didnt bolt up. We then noticed that the cap that was on there matched up to the cap on my sohc si motor. Has anyone ran into this problem or this distributor before? If so get back to me. I need to know what rotor and cap to use.

The 1990 integra will fit, I know the 00 si won't fit. The cap won't align up with the bolt holes and the rotor is to long. Also when you buy the 1990 integra one, you might notice its alittle different, this is because they recalled the one style.

cap 89 CRX, rotor 90 LS, Ignitor 90 LS, Coil 90 LS. As far as the electrical side of the engine, the 90 LS converts for the most part.. when you go physical.. gaskets, and physical parts, do the Del Sol B16A2/3 (whatever it is) .
when i went to buy a new rotor and cap i got for 99 si and it didnt work and i tried a 91 crx one and it fit fine...i used the rotor from a 90 ls...it doesnt look the same but it works the same...
i bought a cap and rotor for a 90 LS, they both fit fine
When I pulled the JDM cap off, it said PR3/PR4. When I bought the '90 Integra one, it said PR3/PR4. The rotor is shaped a little differently, but it'll work fine.
