jdm ef9 sir cluster fit/work in a 88dx hatch w/ b16?
I have an 88 dx hatch with a jdm b16 in it. will a jdm ef9 sir cluster fit? i already have a 91 CRX dash in the car, and the motor is running fine, but the old cluster isnt connected. i purchased a SiR cluster, and its just been in my car unplugged. I will have an electronic VSS soon. so i just want to know if i can wire it in my 88 hatch. thanx

okay.. me too.. i have a 5 series in a 89 Si..
the wirring is not the problem.. its the VSS.. okay.. so on the actuall VSS there is 3 or 4 wires? i haven't got ahold of one yet.. i would think 3.. 1 signal, 1 ground, and 1 hot lead..
so where does the signal go? both to the ECU, and the cluster? i can't get an answer to that anywhere...

I have an eletronic VSS and I was wondering the same thing about the wire colors. I really want a newer gauge cluster and a 91 crx dash. I have an 89 CRX SI, but i was told the bezel hood isn't backwards compatibly.
