I have a 99 Si motor in a 99 EK hatch and i have the stock air box. I was just wondering what intake you guys are running, and if they really helped out. The reason that i want to know all this is due to the fact that lastnight i got my *** handed to me by an Si, never happened before. Oh well thats life. thanks.

Get a Type-R air filter, its the cylinder kind. Just take off your airbox and slip the filter into your intake pipe, add some electrical tape to make sure it stays, and voila! An intake! I just did mine like that on my 1st gen B16a and its a night and day difference, I can finally hear the car going into VTEC. Definately worth the $20 for the filter and the $1.99 for the electrical tape.
