Cam TDC on a D16Z6?

Cam TDC on a D16Z6?
To find TDC on a d16z6 which mark on the head do you line up with the mark on the cam gear? Is it the little notch or the pointer to the left of the notch? The manual that I have isn't clear. I know how to find it on the block, but I just want to make sure i use the right one on the head. Thanks.
