SRS Reset: MES connector Voltage = 0.00V
I've been trying and trying and trying to do the paper clip trick. No luck. So after many tries, I finally went against the Haynes manual warning and used my DMM on the MES connector to see what was up. 0.00V:eek:
So something must be loose in the system or something, right? I actually have a '97 Accord EX. The MES connector was damn near on the firewall behind the driver's kick panel fuse box. I tested the voltage at another connector DIRECTLY UNDER THE steering column (the steering wheel harness had already been disconnected) and I got a voltage reading of like 4.00+ volts.
But I'm getting nothing at the MES connector with all harnesses apparently properly connected. And the fuse is fine. Is there another fuse for the SRS system other than the one in the driver's kick panel? I didn't see one under the hood.
