Default does the 88-91 SI intake mani and TB have a cold idle valve?

cause my idle goes up and down alot and i heard something about a cold idle valve but where is it and can i fix it easy? its only when i first start the car it does this..

yes there is , its called a EAVC electronic air valve control., its on the back of the intake manifold with coolant going in and out of it, and it has a 2 or 3 wire plug on the back, try taking it off and cleaning it out, if that doesnt fix it, get a new one

No, it does not.. B-series and 5g civics have them.. Cold start iacv's are located under the t-bodys.

D16a6's use one idle air control valve located on the back of the intake manifold. (2 12mm bolts w/ 2 coolant lines & a 2 pin plug)
