whats the best engine for a 91 si
askin all you rex heads out there. i'll be acquiring a absolutley mint condition pristine 91' si for my girl and i want to throw in a motor. what do you guys think should go in? a b16/b18/or even a b20 crv/vtec? right know all i want to do is go n/a so just straight up stock swap no mods what can a crx do in the 1/4? in a b16/18, etc? give me sum knowledge fellas. your help is appreciated. thanx

expect mid 14's stock. The tranny has an LSD already, enough compression, nice cams, it breathes good... w/ H/I/E and some fuel, it should be a nice little ride.

I agree with JG Luder. However, what kind of funds are you planning on investing? If money's no issue, hell just get an ITR swap. If you want to lowball it, you can always just throw in a B18a/b. All depends on if the car is gonna see any race duty. If you wanna go fast, either spend it now, or your gonna spend it later
