Default general a/f tuning question

if you bring up your fuel pressure by FPR/FMU to richen your mixture, does the ecu compensate for the richness and lean it out by shortening the time of injection to bring it back to stoic?

No, the ECU assumes stock fuel pressure no matter what.

so even though the a/f ratio is rich, the ecu will just leave it at that and not bring it to stoic? i thought that it can shorten the fuel injection impulse even more if the pressures are higher to make stoic

If the ECU could do that, no one would need to tune their cars. I highly doubt the ECU has the ability to change the A/F ratio enough to compensate for higher fuel pressure. I think what your talking about is the ECUs ability to richen or lean out based on air temperature, elevation, etc....

Just my opinion, hope this helps.
