Some one was trying to tell me that I will have hood clearance issues if I do an SOHC VTEC swap in my 89 Civic. Is this true? I know it is a concern for a DOHC ZC and B series, but I did not think it was a problem with the SOHC.
Please let me know if you had any trouble.

and if u want me to prove it to ya. come to the ohio meeting on columbus on march 2 and i will show u my car and show u that theres plenty of clearance on a HB with a SOHC VTEC

Thanks for all the replies. I am very happy to here it is not a problem. I thought it sounded a little strange, but I wanted to be sure.
I am definitely planning for the Columbus event. I just can't decide if I sould take my EK or my recently aquired EF.
