Camber Kit Opinions
I need a camber kit for my car, and I was going to buy a Skunk2, but I don't think they make them for the ED's(EF's). So what other camber kit is everyone else using? I heard Ingalls breaks, and I don't really know of any other ones. Any ideas? I have used the search, and didn't find too much.

well skunk 2 does make one for our cars [ef/ed] and i am pretty sure all civic integra camber kits work. even accord if i am not mistaken.
the only thing is, skunk 2, i dont dont if you can really slam your car with then? i hear the rub...
i would also like to know my options. and how Ingall's work, i was thinking about getting some.

I have a front ingalls kit on my crx. lowered like 3" in the front and 2" in the back. Hard to set, even if you have the right equipment. If you can dish out the cahs you would probably want someone to professionally allign it. Takes a lot of time so it will cost some cahs, but great kit, i have not had any problems with it besied trying to set it on my own.

how much would you pay for a Ingall's camber kit just the front? new and use? maight pick one up tomorrow, from this guy, i think its used. just woundering how much you would pay.
$100 for front and $90 for back is good. Anything cheaper is, well you know
I love my camber kit, but i know most of you dont want to fork out money for your car so I'm not going to mention what it is.
If your cheap, Ingallas up front and washer trick in the back.

For mine, i bought used for around 100, the kit is worth it though as long as you can get is set right. You can etiehr be wasting your money on tires or get the camber kit spend a lil money and save the tires for more important things
cool, so used ingall front for like 60-70 is a good deal?
also can you still slam you car with that. how low can you go? i heared it lifts it almost an inch. thank you guys.

skunk2 is overpriced junk at least in camber kits my boy has them on his EJ
and everyone agreed that they are of poor quality
they dont look safe
do they make Specialty Products for EFs i had those on my DA and for the price they were very good

I have SPC udjustable upper ball joints for the front only, my camber in the rear is fine. upper ball joints ran me $180 shipped and i installed them myself. no big deal, but have them dialed in by a proffesional. it cost me $40 for toe and camber alignment in the front only.
this is what im gitting. the best upper arm system ive seen. the skunk2 one has cheezyness. as with all others ive seen. this uses eyes bolts which i trust more than the other deals
Ive used both. Both have unique advantages over the other.
Progress and Ingalls are both good. If you plan to lower your car and keep it at a constant height, Id say go for the Progress. The Progress has no moving adjusters or parts. Very solid. They are urethane "blocks" with a 1 or 3 degree setting ( you choose ) that you use. (The front only.....the back uses longer bolts and washers)
The Ingalls on the other hand, have "adjusters" that are infinitely adjustable through its range. So you have to get it aligned to make sure both side are even.
No matter what brand you choose, you should align your car anyway after any height or camber change because your "TOE" will be affected also.
I think the Progress would hold up better in Road racing or autocross because you are not relying on a tightened down "nut" to hold your camber settings.
Usually the Progress 4-wheel kit costs the same as Ingalls front kit only.

Do I want pivot mount type or upper ball joint replacement? Too many choices. I don't want to pick the wrong one. Should I go with SPC, Ingalls, Progress, etc?

I have an ingalls. it works
My friend with a crx put those on and had trouble with the controll arm hitting the frame or something and bent his controll arms, you might have to grind part of the seam so it wont hit.
I put on a new controll arm on my car the other day. If it goes up in the wheel well enough, it catches on the unibody. It drives fine though.
Have you seen the angle of the upper controll arms when the car is down, its like 45 degrees up into the wheel well, CRAZY!

Ok, I am hearing alot about the control arm hitting the frame. I am going to attempt to do this myself, so what can I do when I run into this problem. Does anyone else have this problem on their CRX. I know more of you have camber kits on your car. Let me know.

so wait, the ingalls hit the fram, it seems to me, they would less then say the skunk 2 type. am i wrong in thinking this?
i am about to buy a ingalls. and my car has almost a 4 inch drop. its pretty low. and i dont want my INGALLS to hit my frame. not worth it to me.

the camber kit i showed. the pic. is $650 + shipping.
Aj-racing.com selles them for 650+70shippnig. so 720 out the door.
Very pricey compared to the others. As it comes straight from japan, never even goes to them, goes direct to u. It wouldn't be a practical buy. unless you can have r&d time. As it is hard to adjust.
And yes it replaces the whole upper control arm. I am still gonna get them. I guess I'm spoiled, but I just adjust my income to my expenses. Work harder for more.
Most cost effective would be skunk2 or ingalls, or whatever else is there. As I've seen skunk2 for 200bux.
