I searched. This is my setup, 00 GSR, JRSC@10psi, BTC, MAP mod, Boost upgrade, MSD ignition, I/H/E, clutch/lsd/flywheel.

I just had the charger taken off and sent to Jackson because it was chattering. I decided to have some more work done while it was out. He suggests Cams/cam gears, I dont have enough for both, so I think I will go ahead with the gears. I have bigger plans for it, I will definatly do cams and might even build the bottom if I can get a better job over the summer. So, do you think the cam gears are a good idea.

You can't go wrong with a good set of cam gears. No matter what your setup, dialing in the cams can get you more hp where you need it.

 

This is what I thought. He wants 400 for everything. Buying and shipping the gears, cutting the valve cover, and installing them. Is this a good price? Also, I like the Venom gears cause they look bad ***, how are they quality wise?

thats pretty dam expensive. cam gears are eazy to install shoot them out with an impact and put dem back on, and redo timing. For the side cut juss gram a dremel or cuting wheel and cut it off. If u want like a percise moon shape cut use one of those side cutting bits.

If i was to pay sumone I say about 300 bucks for everything.
