Default HELP!! jg edelbrock victor x intk mnfld//b16a1 J-Spec

ok, first on the old intake manifold directly below the PGM sticker their is a device with 2 hoses coming out of it Where on the new manifold does this relocate to?? and at the end on the stock manifold their is a hose coming out that goes through the manifold and comes out underneath where on the new manifold does this connect to.. on the fitting farthest from the throttle body or closest?? on the stocker below the throttle body their is a device that does not even have a place to bolt to on the jg edelbrock manifold. AM i having a problem because my motor is an older b16 that is differnt Can i even use this intake manifold???

SUMOrex has a JG B16a manifold on his 1st gen B16a. All i remember about the install is that it needed some grinding of the lower part of the flange near cyl# to fir properly. Dont remember much about the hose install though. Might want to email him and see if he can help out.

yup.. you can use that intake manifold, all that extra bullshit will more than likly be eliminated..

I will tell you the things you will HAVE to hook up

Idle air control valve 2 12mm bolts 2 coolant lines, 2pin plug
Intake air temp sensor (white) 2 screws 2pin plug
T-body 4 12mm bolts

Off the back of the intake you will need to run:

Map sensor line
Vacuum Brake Booster line
Fuel Pressure regulator line
PCV System line

Other things to hook up:

Throttle cable
Fuel rail/injectors
T-stat housing hose

What gets deleted?

Fast idle sensor (if equipped)
Any Evap purge device
Rear intake support bracket

This is just some stuff off the top of my head, I have one of these intakes on my Ls/Vtec setup in my 4g crx. It works very well.

What mounts are you guys using and what kind of clearance do you have with that mani? I was thinking about it for my car but seeing pics of it compared to a stock one makes me think twice. that thing is freaking huge.

the JG victor X has short runners, its doesnt even get close to the firewall at all, I can stick my whole arm behind it. Plenty of room, with just about any mountkit.
