Default 2003 Accord TypeS, Huh?

I was browsing the web for any news on the 2003 accord type-r. I came across a website that featured the 2003 Accord TypeS. Huh? Since when did honda (not Acura) make a TypeS for its accord production line? Shouldnt it be Type-R?
Link: http://www.supercarsite.net/accord_type_s.htm
They say the accord has a 2.4L i-vtec engine..
HP: 140.0 kW / 187.7 bhp at 6800 rpm
TORQUE: 220.0 Nm / 162.3 ft lbs at 4500 rpm

Something smells very fishy here.. Is this a phoney?

well, its the acura tsx here, poster for about the 100th time. I dont think its actually called the accord type s in japan, so its just a mistake, or the site was made before they named it or whatever.

IMO, the upgrade is not worthy enough of a type-s

The Type-S, i believe, will be the American version. An upgraded version, most likely interior stuff, like the Type_S of the RSX. The Euro Accord R and The ATR are strictly non US cars.

5th gen was the height of accord style, maybe im partial but all the ones before are too dated looking, and all the ones after it are jsut plain frumpy
