i noticed a low squeeking noise when i shift downward. For instance 1st-2 it makes that noise, 2-3 no noise, 3-4 makes the noise, 4-5 no noise. 1st, 3rd, and 5th make noise when going to neutral from those gears. What is the squeeking noise coming from? TIA

I have recently noticed a squeaking sound in my shifter bushings in cold weather. Is that what you are talking about?

 

sounds like its right beneath the shifter boot, obviously i cant tell because of the boot...it does sound very near to me.

 

Try lubing the shifter bushings and see if it goes away.
