I have asked this question many times and no one has been able to help me. They just send me to websites which don't help because i need a stock DX harness to convert from... and i have a MPFI harness.

Here's my question.
1) I have a 89 CRX DX and im doing a b18a1 and i need to know how to convert to MPFI using a 89 HF MPFI harness instead of using the stock DX DPFI harness.

2) Do i need to aquire the same wiring procedure to convert to MPFI using a MPFI harness then using the stock DX harness?

You need to still re pin you ECU and run the wires to the correct spots in the HF harness. Your gonna need the pins for the ECU and also for the ECU harness where it runs into the engine bay. The HF harness is already wired but you need to add the wires thats all.

 

i would just use ur stock DX harnesss.. they arent that big of a diff anyways
if u use a MPFI harness u still have xtra wired on that harness that done exists on the inside part of thecar.. ure ngine harness might have it, but the interoir doesnt
use ur stock DX, i will be less heaedache 4 u

 

Well i don't have the stock DX harness thats why i am using a HF harness. I understand now. I still have a few questions... I will post a pic of what i am stumped on later.
