Jdm final drive what quaife?
O.k. a friend has been asking me to get him a quaife, he has a jdm finaldrive gear set, it has all the bearing's for the swap."I have not seen the bearing part# so dont light my *** up for it
"My question is he has a b16 hydro trans, I thought the jdm final needs a gsr quaife, can it work in a b16 case, if diff bearings, and the pinion shaft are meant for the jdm ring gear? I am tired so I am not speaking clearly , any info would be appreciated, I thought jdm final drive was meant to bolt on factory lsd, and would not bolt to a quaife. Thanks Jason

the ls and b16a quaifes no matter if they are hydo or cable are the same. The typr r and gsr are the same. I think all the finals bolt up right?

That's correct, and it will fit in the b16 case as long as you use the b16 diff. bearings.

yup, and shim if necessary. Transfer the upper carrier bearing shim to the bottom casing, pop out seals and check with feeler guage.greg
All of you thank you very much, I thought he needed gsr quaife, but did not want to be wrong because we cant return it if it is wrong. Thanks Jason
