95 ex into 90 crxhf
ok i've been reading and searching, but i think i'm just confusing myself.
1. 95 1.6 sohc vtec swap, going in 90 crx hf
2. need an 88-91 si cable tranny
3. need an 88-91 si ecu
4. need an 88-91 si hubs, for the axles to fit
5. for vtec to work, gonna use an rpm activated switch
????been reading and people are saying i need to use the hf int. manf, hf xhst manf, hf dist, and hf injectors??? this does not make sense to me, an hf int manf on an 1.6(95 ex)??what, if i were to bolt it all in, do i have to use an 88-91 si wiring harness(whole thing), but i don't see how it will plug in ??? please any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can reuse the HF distributor and wire harness. It won't benefit to use the HF intake manifold and exhuast manifold onto the ex motor. I personally would convert to OBD1 and use p28 ecu. But you're gonna need obd1 distributor, 4 wire o2,ecu, fuel injectors (optional).A buddy of mines swapped a 91 Si motor and tranny into his HF CRX. And the HF axles worked fine with the Si tranny and HF hubs. Don't know if it will work on your car but it did on his.
