Default 95 ex into 90 crxhf

been doing alot of reading and searching, and i think i'm confusing myself.
1. 95 1.6 sohc vtec motor, manifolds and all
2. need an 88-91 si cable tranny
3. need an 88-91 ecu
3. ??need 88-91 si injectors, not sure??
4. ??then do i need 88-91 si injector resistor box??
5. to hook up vtec, we were just gonna use an rpm activated switch, kinda cheesy, but i think it would work.
but i've been reading alot and confusing myself, everyone saying i need to use the hf intake manfd, hf xhast manfd, hf dist and stuff, i'm confused, how would that work, an hf intake manifold on a 1.6??? any info. would be GREAT, noone seems to know around here, all the local shops only *** with newer cars now, i think it would just be easier to put a b16 in it, but still waiting on the $$ tree to grow, i plan on doing this swap next weekend, me and friend who is a certified honda mechanic, all he does is swaps eveyday, he knows his ****, but he's a little stumped about what i was telling him, to use the hf inj, resistor box, int manfd and all that, please any help would be great.

Ok, so you want to stay OBD-O, correct? To stay with it, use the Hf injectors, distributor, ecu, injector resistor. (IMO this is pointless... you really should OBD-I) You can use the Z6 manifolds.

ok so your saying if i stay obd-0, i need to use the hf inj, hf dist, hf ecu(5000redline), and hf injector resistor, right. But will i be able to use the 95 intake manifold, xhaust manifold??? Also how much harder is it to make it obd-1??

dude, i'd get the si ****. **** that hf crap. the si was geared towards a motor more similar to the z6 than the hf is

no offense...but damn dude...he's leading you on the wrong track.

i have a z6 swap in my si. all i did was put vtec on a switch. runs great

finally someone talks... yeah i know the hf is the fuel economy version, which means the ecu wraps up at 5k rpm, tall azz gears, and a throttle body the size of my dick, all of this **** i don't want to use. Thats why i want to use the si tranny(same gearing), si ecu (same redline-7500), and all that, but can i use the hf wiring harness on that motor, with the ex intake manifold, ex xh manifold, ???

i can slam the si cable tranny on the motor, bolt it in, swap out ecu's(hf w/ si), swap out injectors(ex-out, hf's-in) so they will plug in, get a fuel pressure regulator and turn it up, wire vtec to the shift lite on my tach, 5500rpm, lite comes on-so does vtec- can i use the ex intake manifold and wire it up, to the hf harness, can i use the ex dist, or do i need to use the hf dist?

you'll have to rewire the dizzy a little bit to use the ex one. im not sure what is involved, but its just swapping a few wires. i'd honestly try to get si injectors, and use si stuff when possible. im not sure if its a necessity, but better safe than sorry you know?

and if you use the stock (si or hf) dizzy you have to hack the mounts a little

yea, the hf mani isnt meant to flow at the higher revs you'll be seeing

i think you can use the z6 manifold if you use your electronics on it
